On average our client visits last 3 hours. This is the minimum time per week we will book to ensure quality of care. Many clients find that 2-3 visits per week are just what they need to maintain their independence. Yes! Our caregivers are trained to provide light housekeeping services during their scheduled visits. Our client is our top priority during that time, however we work hard to use our time well, always going above and beyond with our service. This will include cleaning and tidying of main living areas, and primary bathroom to ensure that our clients are living in a safe and healthy home.
Yes! We offer transportation to and from appointments, as well as accompaniment during the appointment when required.
No! We work hard to match our caregivers with our clients in a way to maintain as much consistency as possible. This is a fundamental piece of our caregiving strategy, so you can build comfort and trust with your caregiver.
We ask that our clients keep service payments up to date every 2 weeks. We accept e-transfer and cheque.
We are authorized Alberta Blue Cross provider.
We will work with you to provide everything you need to stay in your home in a healthy and safe way. This can range from higher needs such as 24 hour care, to lower needs like weekly check ins. We offer medical support through our nursing staff, light housekeeping, meal prep, accompaniment to appointments, outdoor exercise, errands and more.
Yes! We know that fresh air and sunshine are important for the health of our clients. If the client indicates that they would like to incorporate some form of outdoor exercise into their schedule, we work hard to accommodate their interests. We work hard to maintain the safety of our clients, while nurturing their mobility and independence.
Yes! Our caregivers are highly trained, certified and thoroughly background checked. We also have a range of qualified nurses on our team - so are able to tailor your care specifically to the level of medical assistance required.
